During the Great war , there were a number of major historical artists who painted a number of major paintings showing the battles and troops of the First World War; W B Wollen, Lady Butler, James Princepe Beadle, Charles Dixon, Matania and Richard Caton Woodville to name a few. The majority of these major painting have been reproduced as fine art prints by Cranston Fine Arts over the past 20 years, but over the past 5 years Cranston Fine Arts have commissioned over 60 new paintings showing the great war at sea, on land and in the air. These new series can be seen together on dedicated pages to each artist and their paintings of the great war.
